Kashan is famous for its Qadjar houses.
We visit the Tabatabei house. The entrance fee is quite high. We paid 300,000 IRR but it’s really worth it.
The residence is huge (40 rooms) and beautifully decorated. The pieces are used according to the season.
We took advantage of this opportunity to take part in photo shoots, Christine in the role of model.
We will have tea in a restaurant called Kashan-Restaurant near the Tabatabei house.
We visit a hammam lost in one of the alleyways of the bazaar that has been transformed into a restaurant.
We finally return to the Kashan-Restaurant for dinner. We eat there not sitting on chairs but in a semi-extended, Roman-style position.
Back at the hotel, we meet young people who come back enchanted by their expedition to the caravanserai.
Well, why not? An expedition in the desert which is rapidly being set up with the help of a young Iranian, us and two young German boys.
The evening takes place in a convivial moment on the rooftops of the Guest-house between guests of different nationalities (Belgian, Norwegian, Korean) and a starry view of Kashan.
Tomorrow the desert…..
